What to Expect
Built Right, From the First Course to the Last
Stone work is part craft and part puzzle. No two stones are alike, and a good mason chooses and places each one so color, size and texture flow naturally across the whole surface. It is slower than laying brick, and the result is unmistakable.
We build with natural stone and stone veneer: stacked ledgestone, fieldstone, limestone and cut stone. Typical projects include home entries and porch columns, accent walls, stone-faced fireplaces, mailboxes, entrance pillars, outdoor kitchens and freestanding walls.
Stone veneer lets you get the look of full stone on a wall or chimney with proper support, moisture control and flashing behind it, so the beauty is backed by good construction.

Prepare the Surface
Walls are prepared with the right moisture barrier, lath or backing before any stone goes on.
Hand-Fit Every Piece
Stones are selected and placed one by one so color and size flow naturally.
Joint & Finish
We tool the joints, brush down the surface and clean the site.

What is the difference between full stone and stone veneer?
Full stone is built from thick, structural stone. Veneer is a thinner layer of real stone applied over a supported wall. Veneer is lighter and often more economical, and with correct installation it looks the same once finished.
Can stone be added to a brick home?
Yes. Many of our projects combine stone accents, columns or entries with existing brick for a custom look.
How do I choose a stone color?
We bring samples and look at your brick, roof and trim so the stone complements what is already there.
Does stone need much maintenance?
Very little. A quick rinse now and then is usually enough, and the mortar joints can be checked and repointed years down the road.
