What to Expect
Built Right, From the First Course to the Last
Castaneda Masonry specializes in outdoor living spaces, including fireplaces and fire pits. We work with you to build what you have been picturing, from a classic stone fire pit with seating walls to a full outdoor fireplace with a chimney, mantle and hearth.
We can also bring in the rest of the space: lighting, pergolas, brick ovens, seating walls and outdoor kitchens, designed together so everything feels like one place. If you are not sure where to start, we can offer ideas and help you choose the right materials for the look and budget.
An outdoor fireplace made of brick or stone is built to handle the weather and to last. We build proper footings and use materials made for outdoor use, so your fireplace keeps looking good season after season.

Questions About Outdoor Fireplaces & Fire Pits
Still have a question?
What is the difference between a fire pit and an outdoor fireplace?
A fire pit is open and usually low, with seating around it. An outdoor fireplace has a chimney and firebox and is built into a wall or structure, which carries smoke up and away from seating.
Can you build around my existing patio?
Often yes. We can add a fireplace or fire pit to an existing patio or build a new patio designed around it.
Do you handle the lighting and pergola?
We can build structures and plan lighting ideas as part of the space. Our team will explain what we do ourselves and what we coordinate.
What materials can I choose from?
Brick, natural stone, stone veneer and block, with a range of colors and finishes. We bring samples to your property.
